QINSUN Leather Water Vapor Permeability Tester Leather Water Vapor Permeability Tester evaluates the water vapor permeability of leather by measuring the quality of water vapor per unit time per unit area of leather products.

The main functions of the instrument include: test bottle fixture, ventilation fan, and control panel.

The control panel has on/off function and test time setting and recording function.

Scope of application.

The apparatus is mainly applicable to leather and textiles used in shoe uppers and clothing, measuring the perspiration ability of the material on the wearer's skin.

The device is used to determine the amount of water vapor transferred by a material through its own structure over a defined period of time.

UNI EN IUP/15, UNI EN 13515, EN ISO 20344: 6.6, IUP 15, BS 3144, Method 24, SLP 25, DIN 53333, ISO 17699, DIN 53 429, METODO - 309 WI 009 The Leather Water Vapor Permeability Tester is equipped with a rotary table with six individual test stations, each with a specimen fixture.

A silica gel desiccant is placed on the fixture and the test material is placed on the neck of the fixture and held in place by a screw cap.

After weighing each fixture with silica gel and sample material, the fixture is placed and locked in the rotating device.

7-8 hours later the fixture is weighed again and the results are used to determine the permeability.

The entire test must be performed under specific atmospheric conditions (temperature 20°C, relative humidity 65%).

In addition to the standard equipment that accompanies it, there is a built-in timer to record the time that the test has been performed.
