Percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) is the main surgical treatment for OVCF.
With the help of imaging equipment (e.g., 3D flatbed mobile C-arm), osteoplastic materials (e.g., bone cement) are injected into the vertebral body from outside of the body via a puncture needle to restore the height of the vertebral body.
