Calcined Petroleum Coke - China

Calcined petroleum coke is a kind of petrochemical product, whose raw materials is green petroleum coke.

It is widely used to produce graphite electrode, graphite blocks, brakes pads and other carbon products.

It can also be used as carbon additive in some steel and aluminum plants, another, it is used in refractory, insulation, filler, etc.

Calcined Petroleum Coke comes from delayed coke which extracted from oil refinery.

And contains a little bit higher level of sulfur and nitrogen than pitch coke, the price advantage still makes it widely used during steel-making and founding as a kind of carbon additive.

(3)Fixed carbon≥98.0%, Ash≤1.0%, Volatile≤1.0%, Sulfur≤2.0%, Moisture≤0.5%, N ≤2.0;

Application:

1 - Steel Foundry: carburant/graphite electrode/refractory material

2 - Industry Field: brake pad/seal ring/friction plate/heat exchanger/lubricity

3 - Battery Production: alkaline battery cathode/lithium ion battery cathode
