Urea Formaldehyde Resin A1 Plastic Moulding Compound 30s Curing Time Product Description SHUNJI Urea formaldehyde resin are based on colourless thermosetting resins which are condensation products of either urea or melamine with formaldehyde.

Urea formaldehyde resin ( thermosetting plastics) are amino moulding compounds composed of urea formaldehyde and alpha cellulose as filling material with the addition of lubricant, hardening agent & pigments.

Thermosets are strong, glossy, durable and highly resistant to scratches and staining.

They are not affected by fats, oils, esters, ethers, petrol, alcohol or acetone nor by detergents or weak acids & weak alkalis.

Thermosets offer many advantages over basic thermoplastics and are suitable for compression, transfer or injection moulding.

They are produced in a precise and vibrant range of colors.

They are available in powder (which gives much better surface) or granular form.

Application Areas Their high mechanical strength, heat and fire resistance and good electrical arc and tracking resistance make them an ideal plastic for numerous industrial and household applications like: -- Spares of electrical appliance : switches, fittings, sockets, cases.
