ASTM A 53 is produced mainly for pressure and mechanical applications, and is also used for transport of steam, water, gas line pipes.

CHARACTERISTICS

Designed for coiling, bending and flanging, A53 carbon steel pipe is suitable for welding.

The grades denote certain chemical and mechanical properties and should be noted in selection.

Sizes up to 26" OD are available on limited basis.
