The VMIVME-2128 is a digital output board manufactured by GE Fanuc and is part of the VMIC family of devices, which includes input/output boards, CPU modules, digital to analog converters and other devices.
It was originally designed and produced by the Industrial Automation division of General Electric, but after being withdrawn from the production line, Abaco Systems took charge of its production.
The module is a high voltage digital output board that provides 128 channels of high voltage and high current absorbing output with an open collector output driver supporting a minimum of 5 to 48 volts DC output voltage.
It also features a range of protective capabilities such as automatic surge current off protection and overheat protection to prevent damage caused by overvoltage or overheating.
In addition, the VMIVME-2128 module has multi-channel input and output capabilities, supports the input and output of analog and digital signals, and usually has high precision to ensure accurate data acquisition and control operations.
At the same time, it supports communication interfaces and can be connected to control systems and other devices.
VMIVME-2128 is widely used in industrial automation, data acquisition, testing and measurement fields requiring high-speed digital input and output, such as high-speed data acquisition, high-speed control, high-speed signal processing and other applications.
The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C, and the storage temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
In addition, the VMIVME-2128 module is equipped with built-in self-test and diagnostic analysis capabilities, allowing operators to verify the functionality of each channel through software control.
