Fresh Lobster - Vietnam

Green lobster lives at a depth of 1 - 90 m, often caught in coastal waters to 5 m, where there is a sandy bottom, with stable salinity.

Like lobster, they are often hidden in rock holes and coral reefs.

Green lobsters live in swarms of about 3 to 4 animals, active at night.

Juvenile shrimp (with a length of 0.08 - 0.2 cm at the tip of the breast) are usually concentrated in the coastal areas near the estuary from January to June each year, most often around January to February.

Fishing season: From February to March and from August to September every year.

Size of exploitation: Green lobster with the size of 20-25 cm, it is exploited, particularly, has a child up to 31 cm

Farming ability: Green lobster is usually cultured in cages from natural seed sources.
