- Sargassum seaweed is also called “Hai Zao”, which developed widely in the sea of Vietnam, Yearly, we have harvested about 20, 000 tons of fresh sargassum seaweed from December to July the next year.

- Sargassum seaweed has two popular kinds: Sargassum pallidum and Sargassum fusi forme.

- Raw sargassum seaweed is a source for alginate extraction.

The Alginate has many applications in food industrial, dentistry, medical, etc.

Description of Sargassum Seaweed/ Brown Algae:

- Moisture content: 18% max

- Impurities: 3% max

- Color: natural brown

- Processing: dried naturally under sunlight.

- Packing: 35 kg per PP bag or according to customer’s requestion.

- Quantity: 16 ton per 1 container 40 feet.

- Loading Port: Cat Lai Port, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

- Storage: dry place, avoid direct sunlight.

-Shelf-life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.

- Capacity: 100 tons/months
