1 - **GB 9CrWMn material annealing treatment**

- **Process**: Heat GB 9CrWMn steel to 780-810°C, keep it for a certain time (usually 2-4 hours according to the size of the workpiece and the amount of furnace loading), then cool it to 500-550°C at a slow speed (usually 10-20°C/h), and finally take it out of the furnace for air cooling.

For example, for some smaller tool blanks, heat it to 800°C, keep it for 3 hours, and then cool it at a rate of 15°C/h.

2 - **GB 9CrWMn material quenching treatment**

- **Process**: The quenching heating temperature is generally 800-830°C.

Appropriate preheating is required during quenching heating, usually at 500-600°C for one preheating, and for workpieces with complex shapes or large sizes, it may also be preheated twice at 750-780°C.

The heating time is determined according to the effective thickness of the workpiece and the type of heating equipment, and is generally calculated as 1 - 1.5min/mm.

After heating, quench in oil.

For example, for a mold with an effective thickness of 30mm, the quenching heating time is about 30 - 45min.
