Prestressed Concrete Steel Strand ( simplied as PC strand ) is a multi-wire steel cable helically wound by 2, 3, 7 or 19 high-strength steel mono wires.

PC steel strand is widely used in slab post-tensioning, pre-stressing, mining, and stay cable applications.
