Erdmann emailed more than 20 hydraulic valve manufacturers who had been contacted before, emphasizing that the hydraulic threaded cartridge valve must be in the highly corrosive environment in the Arctic region, and the service life shall not be less than 9 months.

Only 3 hydraulic valve manufacturers said they could have a try, but there was no response from other manufacturers.

While the samples from other manufacturers began to produce red rust in more than 120 hours, and there were white corrosion products on the coating surface.

Erdmann hesitated to report to his boss because the quotation of AAK hydraulic threaded cartridge valve is 30% higher than that of other suppliers.

The surface electroplating process of AAK hydraulic threaded cartridge valve is zinc nickel alloy coating, which has high requirements for steel heat treatment.

It may be difficult to find a second factory in Ningbo who can go through both of these two processes smoothly.
