What Do I Use U-Pins For?

Our 3mm diameter U-Pins are ideal for securing geotextile membranes, woven membranes and meshes in to the ground prior to laying one of our many compatible products such as a X-Grid, shed bases, hot tub bases and rubber grass mats.

Manufactured from 3mm diameter galvanised steel.

Each staple is 150mm long x 30mm across the flat of the staple.

Installation is quick and simple; simply lay out your selected membrane and insert the u-pin into the ground at approximately 1m intervals ensuring that the pin sits flush with the surrounding ground level.

If the ground is hard and it’s difficult to push the pin into the ground use a rubber or wooden mallet to hammer each u-pin into the ground.
