n06600 material This alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy with excellent high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding performance, good thermal strength and high plasticity below 700℃.

This alloy is designed for low temperature to 1093℃ environment.

It has extremely excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature, and has outstanding oxidation resistance and carbonization stability at 1093℃ (but in a reducing atmosphere containing hydrogen sulfide, its upper limit temperature is 535℃).

The alloy can be strengthened by cold working, and can also be connected by resistance welding, fusion welding or brazing, so it is suitable for making oxidation-resistant parts that bear low loads below 1100℃.

n06600 material application areas:

● Thermocouple sleeves in corrosive atmospheres

● Vinyl chloride monomer production: resistance to chlorine, hydrogen chloride, oxidation and carburization corrosion

● Uranium oxidation to hexafluoride: resistance to hydrogen fluoride corrosion

● Production and use of corrosive alkali metals, especially in environments using sulfides

● Production of titanium dioxide using chlorine

● Production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides: resistance to chlorine and fluorine corrosion

● Nuclear reactors

● Retorts and components in heat treatment furnaces, especially in carburizing and nitriding atmospheres

● Catalytic regenerators in petrochemical production are recommended to use alloy 600H in applications above 700℃ to obtain longer service life.
