Medium carbon structural steel 60Si2Mn has high strength and good plastic toughness.

Its traditional heat treatment process is complete quenching + high temperature tempering.

After quenching, the structure is lath martensite.

Mixed with lamellar martensite.

60Si2Mn also has higher strength, elasticity and hardenability, which are improved compared to 55Si2Mn.

In addition, 60Si2Mn steel plate has high hardness and toughness.

After quenching and tempering, it can obtain higher strength.

It has wear resistance, fatigue resistance, easy cutting and other characteristics.

It is widely used in shock absorption systems and auto parts.

Its chemical composition includes elements such as carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and chromium, and has specific mechanical properties such as tensile strength, conditional yield strength, elongation, area reduction and impact toughness.

Heat treatment specifications for 60Si2Mn: quenching at 870℃±20℃, oil cooling; tempering at 480℃±50℃ (±30℃ when required).

Metallographic structure: tempered troostite.

Delivery status: Hot-rolled steel is delivered in a heat-treated or non-heat-treated state, and cold-drawn steel is delivered in a heat-treated state.

Hot rolled delivery specifications: 2.0~18.0mm, with or without annealing.
