high molybdenum high speed steel(tungsten content is 0% – 2% and the content of molybdenum is 5% – 10%)

vanadium high-speed steel, according to the different vanadium content, which is divided into general vanadium containing vanadium (1 to 2% vanadium) and high vanadium content (2.5 to 5% vanadium)

cobalt high speed steel (cobalt content is 5% – 10% )

according to the different applications, they can be divided into general purpose and special purpose the relationship between hardness and tensile strength

when its hardness is below 500hb, the tensile strength is proportional to the hardness.

the t1 hardness decreases as the tempering temperature increases.

but, in the quenched state and low temperature tempering below 300 ° c, the relationship between hardness and tensile strength is difficult to maintain.

when the tempering temperature is about 300 °c, higher hardness with higher tensile strength.

and if the hardness is lower, its tensile strength also is lower.
