Centerway Steel Co., Ltd Participates in the 2023 Vietnam International Steel and Metalworking Exhibition

From November 15 to 17, 2023, Centerway Steel Co., Ltd made its appearance at the 2023 Vietnam International Steel and Metalworking Exhibition (ISME VIETNAM) held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Vietnam.

This exhibition, jointly organized by the Vietnam Steel Association and the ASEAN Iron and Steel Council, is the largest and most influential steel and metal industry event in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

In recent years, the rapid development of Vietnam's petroleum, natural gas, chemical, machinery, home appliances, shipbuilding, automotive industries, and urban construction has led to a continuous increase in demand for steel.

However, Vietnam's self-sufficiency rate for steel is only 40%, with most steel needing to be imported.

The rapid growth of Vietnam's economy has brought unprecedented opportunities to the steel industry.

According to predictions by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the demand for construction steel in Vietnam is growing at a rate of 15%-20% annually, reaching 15 million tons in 2020 and expected to reach 20 million tons by 2025 - As a representative of emerging markets in ASEAN, Vietnam is not only a major importer of Chinese steel products but also an important partner for Chinese steel enterprises.
